Millcreek Meadows is a community-based farm, and we like to maintain good relationships with other farms, and ranches in other communities. The horse community is a small one, and we like to look after each other, so we like to be as welcoming as we can especially when our horse friends have travelled a long distance and have a long way to go. If we can make the journey a little more comfortable by showing some good old fashioned Utah hospitality – then great! We’re in!

Horses and humans aren’t that different when it comes to travelling, we all need a break sometimes. A ’ Mare Motel’ is transient boarding offered for horses that are traveling long distances. It is important for horses to be able to take a break from being hauled in a trailer. They need to be able to decompress with access to food and water and an area to run in a safe space. Horses that get too stressed and not able to move their feet, can get ill from the travel, so giving the owners options as they traverse the country is important for the horse. We are excited to be able to offer a clean and safe place for horses to get a peaceful overnight stay at Millcreek Meadows.
